About Us

The story of Amor began at a dancing studio in Auckland and grew from a concept to New Zealand’s finest, most beautifully packaged Cream Liqueur. The Amor brand and image was inspired by the rhumba, arguably the most erotic Latin love dance.

Amor was soon followed by another brand - Te Kaha - and two new flavours. Te Kaha is the perfect souvenir gift of New Zealand. The gift box is designed around a magnificent painting of sunbeams penetrating a Kauri forest, with two (native) fantails in the foreground.

Te Kaha means strength, uprightness and great character and is therefore appropriately symbolised by the Kauri tree, Lord of all New Zealand forests.

No effort has been spared to ensure these gifts are received with amazement if not disbelief. The packaging is as close to perfect as we can make it. The liqueurs have been sampled by thousands at expo's both here in New Zealand and abroad – notably the United States. They have been enthusiastically acclaimed by over 95% of those who have sampled them and we are proud of that achievement.
